With OptiGrill+ XL, our ultimate innovation, smart technology makes for delicious cooking. Featuring a 33% larger grilling surface, it's perfect to host family and friends. Including "Automatic Sensor Cooking" technology, time and temperature are automatically adjusted to the thickness and number of items placed on the grill, based on 9 cooking programs (Burger, Red meat, Sandwich, Sausage, Fish, Poultry, Seafood, Bacon, Pork) and a frozen food mode. At the same time, an indicator light allows direct monitoring: Purple for preheating, blue then green at the start of cooking, yellow when the food is rare, orange for medium and red for well-done. Perfectly adaptable to everyone's tastes, simply lift up the lid to pick up your meat when it's ready and leave the rest to carry on cooking! The additional manual mode with 4 adjustable temperature levels allow you to cook anything and is perfectly adapted to fruits and vegetables, cooking them just the way you want.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
